Which comes first: thought or language? Can we think without language? Is it possible that we think in images?
In these case, appears a very complicated situation, but to explain it I will answer these questions first. In ,y opinion, I think language and thought are not ordered, I mean they came together, because non of them can exist without the other. We think with images that are accompanied with a word. I think we can't think without language, but then appears a contradiction. Deaf people don't think with words, they think only with images.
When we think, we have the image of something accompanied with the meaning or the word we have in our minds.
Do we learn to think before we speak, or does language shape our thoughts? Human beings have developed consciousness through the use of language symbols. With this innovation, humans became capable of an awareness of their own mental processes and through that event become amenable to modification and adaption of the very schemata which creates their reality.Language is more than just a means of communication. It influences our culture and even our thought processes. Some theorists maintain that the peculiarities of a given language do not significantly affect the thinking of those who speak or write in that language, and so the differences between languages are largely accidental or irrelevant to the meaning of the text. Other writers maintain that differences between languages are such that an accurate translation must frequently be unidiomatic in the receptor language, because the idiomatic constructions and usages of the receptor language cannot capture the foreign modes of thought which are inherent in the language of the original text. Different languages use distinctive phonemes, which are the smallest units of sound, as well as describe and name ideas and concepts differently.(http://www.kingcountydirectory.com)

Dr. Deb Roy Video
1) To speak, there is a trick, it consist in express what we are thinking and be understood by others. First we send this idea is send to the mouth and there, some air is blown emiting a sequence of sounds that apeears in the mind of another individual and understood what we said.
2) Animals don't talk, they emit some sounds to express what they need.
3) when we talk, we express what we want others to understand , like feelings, emotions, anecdotes, information, etc.
4) Dr. Roy try to achieve how we learn to talk, recording all his own son's life as a child.
5) The earliest stages for a child , when they learn to speak are depending of how much others talk to him. First, the child only emits some sounds similar to shat they heard, then they know to say the word but only say one word at once. Then they start saying longer phrases of what they see or want.
6) The internal information that can be used is all the recording of three years of the kid learning to speak but doesn't help if there is not some external fact that is missing to make all this information useful. the data that can be useful is the recording.
7)The parents language changes es the child grow, they teach him easy words, so they use easy words to talk, and then the speak more complex to the child.
8)With a flower, because it develops as children language.

Language reflections
"Language surrounds us every day and we know how to recognise it" (Language A: Course Companion)
Language is what we use to communicate, to express our ideas, our feelings, emotions, problems or just speak. Language help us to understand each other, and is the only thing we can use to interact. To people is very easy to recognize it because is the way we can interact whit words and set emotions to tell something. How we know another other sound isn't language? Because other sounds that we hear doesn't tell us anything. But sometimes they do. In school, the ring bell tell us, without words, that break is over. In a football match, the whistle warns to players. But we still can recognize language from another sounds.
"A word is one or more sounds that in combination have a specific meaning assigned by the language"
Words are the base of language, they have meanings, that could be accompanied with some other meanings. Words can be very powerful, or very harmful. They can make someone change a decision, they have the power to kill or to safe. If we use the correct words we can change something, save someone, make someone better or even prevent a catastrophe as war.

"The most powerful tool known is the one we use to build every other tool"
The tool we use is language, and that is because language can be use to write books, to tell a speech. If well used it can achieve greatness, excellent accomplishments, art pieces. Language is used to build every other tools.
